HELEN HERBERT
Professional actress working in theater, television and film.
AEA / SAG-AFTRA
I'm an actor and filmmaker based in New York City. I grew up in New Jersey and am currently pursuing my MFA in Acting from Actors Studio Drama School. I have been compared to Claire Danes, Rachel McAdams, Christina Hendricks and Moira Tierney. I enjoy playing complex, flawed women and I search for the humor and heart in all characters.
Selected New York Theatre roles include: Prison Corrections Officer Haley in Final Request (Nylon Fusion), Elizabeth in Queen Elizabeth of Factory Fifteen (Samuel French OOB), Mag in Town of No One (NY Fringe) and Marilyn Monroe in It's All Make Believe Isn't It? (Nylon Fusion). Additionally, I just directed my first documentary short film, Ninety-Two and A Quarter, which was screened at BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn.
