Helen is an actor and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. She holds an MFA in Acting from Actors Studio Drama School. Recent credits include Emilia in Shakespeare's Othello Off Broadway at Casa Clara & Lynn in Spite by Tariq Hamami, directed by Saki Kawamura at Actors Studio Drama School. On the mic, she's the host voice of the NY Philharmonic's streaming Project 19 Concert and the voice of Little Girl in the award wining short animated film Kris the Cat, directed by Aimee Todoroff.
Her short documentary, ninety-two and a quarter which highlights the life of nonagenarian Sarah Hackett, was featured at BRIC Arts Media, Hamptons Doc Fest and the Legacy Film Festival on Aging. Her first narrative short First Line of Defense, which she also acts in, is due out later this year. Helen is in development of Herself, Unseen a solo show about life, death and Carl Sagan. Whether onstage or on-camera, Helen enjoys developing complex, flawed characters and searches for the heart and humor in all stories.
